Australia’s Chief Medical Officer has issued a fact sheet for Hotel Management and Hotel Staff and Hotel Guests about preventive action staff and guests should take. There are also other resources for people in the travel, transport and hotel industries.
Tourism Tasmania has also put in a place a $9.2M Response Plan to ensure Tasmania remains at the forefront of domestic travellers’ minds in the months ahead.
While it’s a challenging time and it’s uncertain what the visitor patterns will be, it’s important that Tasmania’s brand stays in consumers’ minds when considering their
domestic travel options this year. Tourism Tasmania will continue to monitor market conditions and we will keep the industry advised of any updates.
