Now that JobKeeper has ended, your business may be facing renewed operational challenges, forcing you to consider downsizing your workforce. Or your business may currently be doing well but you want to be prepared for future impacts. This workshop will help you navigate the difficult decisions you may have to make in the post-JobKeeper economic environment including:

  • Where to start in assessing your current and future workforce needs – including identifying essential positions and outsourcing
  • What are restructures/redundancies and what do they mean including what is a “genuine redundancy”
  • When you should begin consulting with your workforce and their representatives over potential redundancies
  • What pay and notice requirements apply in the event you do have to downsize your workforce
  • How to manage the legal risks
